Expansion Continues with the Installation Of Vaccari Forging Screw Press
Following the closure of Cerro EMS in Birmingham, Brooks Forgings acquired a total of six forging screw presses. Installation of these presses is currently underway within the group, with the 800T Vaccari Press being installed at our manufacturing facility in Lye, Stourbridge, UK.
The Vaccari Press is a versatile machine, offering friction, crank, and sub-press capabilities. This addition will enhance our forging capabilities, particularly for non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, brass, and bronze, allowing us to produce high-strength, intricate components for a variety of applications.
Brooks Forgings is committed to growth and excellence in the forging industry. Continued investment in new processes and capabilities is essential for safeguarding British manufacturing and engineering.
Looking ahead, we will also begin the installation of the Hasenclever 1450T forging press, which was acquired from the Cerro EMS plant.
