New Partnership Keeps Eurostar On Track With Production Of Drop Forged Anti-Roll Bar Links
Following the acquisition and installation of the forging plant from Henry Williams, continuing production for their clients has been a top priority for our group.
One of our initial projects was for a long-standing client in the rail and locomotive sector, which supplies finished, precision-engineered components for the Eurostar locomotive platform.
Utilising existing tooling, we forged a batch of 100 ‘dog bone’ anti-roll links from C22 material.
The forged blanks were produced using the newly installed Banning 6 (6.3-ton) Power Hammer and underwent additional processes, including normalising, descaling, and 100% magnetic particle inspection.
These steps ensured that the anti-roll bar link forgings met the highest industry standards before the customer's final machining operations.
By partnering with Brooks Forgings, our new client has secured British production of critical rail components for many years to come. We look forward to further developing this relationship in 2026.
