NOTES:
Lewis Pins are lifting aids only, suitable for positioning stonework during straight vertical lifts.
Ropes or slings must always be used for lifting and moving any stonework.
The lewis pin can slip out if the stonework’s weight changes suddenly, from bumps, etc.
The drilled hole (to suit F) must be prepared to fit the lewis pin tightly, or premature failure may occur.
