Brooks Continue To Demonstrate Hot Bending Capability - 50mm Diameter Material
Brooks Forgings has become one of the UK’s leading hot-forming companies, specialising in the manipulation of rounds, squares, and flats into complex shapes. A recent project required forming 50mm diameter solid bars into a cranked hook-style shape. By using a combination of manual and mechanical processes, the bar was formed as shown with the main loop measuring 140mm inner radius (280mm diameter).
